The next time you stop in Akron make sure to visit one of these cool restaurants.

The Lockview

The Lockview is a trendy restaurant that serves American fare. The atmosphere of this place is sleek with minimal decor. There are string lights for some ambiance, and the menu is all on a chalkboard. Make sure to try the gourmet grilled cheese with unusual flavors such as Havarti dill cheese and sautéed artichoke hearts. This fun restaurant is just like an old-fashioned drive-in where you just pull up and park, and then a car-hop comes running out to take your order. They toss a number on your windshield and then run back off to put in your order for one of the best burgers you’ll ever have. If you want an explosion of flavor, get the Galley Boy. This comes with two patties, melted cheese, grilled onions, and two different BBQ sauces. To top it off, they stick an olive with a toothpick to hold everything together.
