The Jetta

The Jetta is a four-door sedan with room for up to five passengers. It comes in four different trim levels ranging from the basic S to the high-end GLI with chrome exhaust tips, a rear spoiler, and upgraded brakes. There are three different engine options available with the Jetta so you can choose either a 1.4-liter turbo four-cylinder, a 1.8-liter four-cylinder, or a 2.0-liter four cylinder depending on the trim. Choose the SE trim for blind-spot monitoring or the SEL for forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking.

The Passat

The Passat is an affordable sedan with an abundance of room in the cabin and lots of features. The style of the Passat is classy with a comfortable and spacious back seat that makes it ideal for families. It also has a large trunk with plenty of room for groceries or sports gear. You can choose from four different trim levels with the Passat, and there are additional packages if you want to add more features, such as a hands-free trunk with a foot sensor and automatic wipers with the Technology package. Even the mid-level R-Line trim comes with a 6.3-inch touchscreen and the CarNet smartphone integration system from VW, while the top-level SEL Premium trim has leather seats and a premium audio system.

The Golf

The VW Golf offers both practicality and a luxury feel. This popular four-door hatchback comes well-equipped with features and a large cargo area. For 2017, Volkswagen streamlined the lineup and now offers it in just two trim levels. Both of these are more affordable than the 2016 models and come with extra features. The base level S comes standard with a rearview camera, a leather-wrapped tilt and telescoping steering wheel, and a cooled glove box. The Wolfsburg Edition adds automatic headlights, automatic wipers, and a sunroof along with some driver assist safety features.

The Tiguan

If you need an affordable crossover SUV, the 2017 VW Tiguan will fit your wallet and your lifestyle. This midsize crossover has a sporty look, and it offers an excellent driving experience. The 2017 models come standard with a 6.3-inch touchscreen display and both HD and satellite radio. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine powers the Tiguan and generates 200 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard, but you can opt for all-wheel drive if you need it. The cabin of this vehicle is spacious with plenty of headroom in both the front and back, and you sit up high for an excellent view of the road.

If you want an affordable vehicle that is fun to drive and comes with the modern features you want, check out one of these 2017 Volkswagen vehicles.
